Ardmore Neighborhood Association Monthly Business Meeting

Call to Order at 7:00 p.m.

Minutes: August minutes were approved.

TreasurerÕs Report: $5532.23 in account. It was noted that ANA needs to maintain a $2,000 balance in its account.

Membership Report: ANA has 147 members.

Annual Meeting: The Annual Meeting is set for October 14 at 7:00 p.m. in Bob Martin Hall at the Ardmore Methodist Church. Glen and Diane Salmons have agreed to speak about growing up in Ardmore. A call for photos has been sent out. Photos received will be used to create a picture gallery for the meeting.

Shalom Project: An event is scheduled for October 18 at which an announcement will be made regarding a project at the West Salem Shopping Center, located at PeterÕs Creek Parkway and Academy Street. The next training session for the Shalom Project will be held this weekend in High Point.

Committee Reports:

Communications Committee: The committee has developed a logo for the Association. A newsletter will go out on September 23. Advertisers will be recruited at a rate of $125.

Property, Preservation and Planning: The first vision meeting for the Area Plan Update will be held September 30. A birthday party/ground breaking celebration for the Ronald McDonald House will be held September 14 from 3 to 5 p.m. ANA Board members are invited to attend.
