Ardmore Neighborhood Association Meeting

In attendance: Dianne Blancato, Lonnie Clark, Tom Dalrymple, Catherine Eades, Patti Heath, Pauline Leggatt, Tiffany White

Call to Order at 7:00 p.m.

Ardmore History and Historic Preservation: Board members Patti Heath and Tiffany White presented information about the neighborhood in recognition of Historic Preservation Month.
Patti discussed the history of Ardmore from when the first homes were built in 1910 up until today, when we are seeing great examples of infill projects. Tiffany reviewed the different architectural styles that are represented in Ardmore homes. Guest Michelle McCollough reviewed the tax credits that are available for approved projects on contributing structures in the Ardmore Historic District.

Area Plan: The area plan will be presented to the community on May 21 at Highland Presbyterian Church. The Ronald McDonald House is planning to demolish two houses adjacent to it to make room for its new addition.
